Island greetings!  Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Maureen Putman and my love of Fire Island goes way back.  First as a boater enjoying the many marinas of Fire Island, then as a renter, and since 2006, a resident of Summer Club. My family currently resides full time in our beach home, and my son proudly serves on the OBFD year-round after years as a counselor and sailing instructor at the Ocean Beach Summer Camp.  

My career started in Brand Management at Kraft and most recently, as President of the Grocery and Snacks Division of The Hain Celestial Group, working on iconic brands such as Earth’s Best Baby Food, Terra Chips and Garden of Eatin’ (which happens to be the name of our Beach home). I have launched many successful new products addressing a variety of consumer needs from Earth’s Best Baby Food in convenient pouches, to Yves Veggie Cuisine plant-based foods, to Terra Blues (which most of you know as the official snack of Jet Blue). 

After a successful career in Sales and Marketing, I made the move to my happy place, the beach. Real Estate has always been a strong interest of mine and Netter Beach Estates was by far the most professional and knowledgeable, so I knew this was the right place for me, joining the team in July of 2021. Each community of Fire Island is unique as is every potential home buyer.  My extensive experience in listening and understanding consumer needs combined with my deep love of Fire Island serves me well in finding your happy place too.
